لَا أَن مَآ نُوحٍ أَوْ أَوْ وَمَا لُوطٍ مِّنكُم ﴿٨٩﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And O my people, let not [your] dissension from me cause you to be struck by that similar to what struck the people of Noah or the people of Hud or the people of Salih. And the people of Lot are not from you far away.

نزدیکی زمانی قوم شعیب با قوم لوط

منظور از این جمله» دور نبودن فاصلةٌ زمانی قوم با قوم لوط نیز کمتر از سه قرن بوده است. بوده و نیز حضرت لوط هم‌عصر حضرت ابراهیم بوده و فاصلةٌ زمانی این دو پیامبر اولوالعزم (حضرت موسی و حضرت ابراهیم) نیز کمتر از سه قرن بوده است؛ بنابر این» فاصلةٌ قوم شعیب +. خداوند ودود: «وّدود» از نام‌های خداوند است و به معنای کسی است که شخصی یا چیزی را دوست دارد و این دوست داشتن را با آثار و پیامدهایش آشکار می‌کند. خداوند «ودود» استء یعنی مخلوقات و بندگان خود را دوست دارد و با نعمت‌هایی که به بندگانش ارزانی می‌دارد» آثار محبتش آشکار می‌شود؛ نعمت‌هایی که هرگز نمی‌توان شمرد. خود فرموده است: «و اگر نعمت‌های خدا را بشمارید. هرگز آنها را شماره نتوانید کرد.» (ابراهیم - ۲.

  • وَيَٰقَوْمِ مَن يَنصُرُنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِن طَرَدتُّهُمْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    And O my people, who would protect me from Allah if I drove them away? Then will you not be reminded?

  • قَالُوا۟ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
