And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind."

As the caravan set off, their father said, ‘I sense the scent of Joseph, if you will not consider me a dotard.’

When the caravan departed their father had said: Truly I am conscious of the breath of Joseph, though ye call me dotard.

When the caravan left (Egypt), their father said: "I do indeed scent the presence of Joseph: Nay, think me not a dotard."

So, when the caravan set forth, their father said, 'Surely I perceive Joseph's scent, unless you think me doting.'

و زمانی که کاروان [از مصر] رهسپار [کنعان] شد، پدرشان گفت: بی تردید، بوی یوسف را می یابم اگر مرا سبک عقل ندانید.

و چون کاروان رهسپار شد، پدرشان گفت: «اگر مرا به کم‌خردی نسبت ندهید، بوی یوسف را می‌شنوم.»

Kervan, memleketlerine dönmek üzere ayrıldığında, babaları: "Doğrusu ben Yusuf'un kokusunu duyuyorum; ne olur bana bunak demeyin" dedi.

Tatkala kafilah itu telah ke luar (dari negeri Mesir) berkata ayah mereka: "Sesungguhnya aku mencium bau Yusuf, sekiranya kamu tidak menuduhku lemah akal (tentu kamu membenarkan aku)".

اب جو قافلہ مصر سے روانہ ہوا تو ان کے پدر بزرگوار نے کہا کہ میں یوسف کی خوشبو محسوس کررہا ہوں اگر تم لوگ مجھے سٹھیایا ہوا نہ کہو

যখন কাফেলা রওয়ানা হল, তখন তাদের পিতা বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা আমাকে অপ্রকৃতিস্থ না বল, তবে বলিঃ আমি নিশ্চিতরূপেই ইউসুফের গন্ধ পাচ্ছি।
