And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."

We have enjoined man to be kind to his parents. His mother has carried him in travail, and bore him in travail, and his gestation and weaning take thirty months. When he comes of age and reaches forty years, he says, ‘My Lord! Inspire me to give thanks for Your blessing with which You have blessed me and my parents, and that I may do righteous deeds which please You, and invest my descendants with righteousness. Indeed I have turned to you in penitence, and I am one of the Muslims.’

And We have commended unto man kindness toward parents. His mother beareth him with reluctance, and bringeth him forth with reluctance, and the bearing of him and the weaning of him is thirty months, till, when he attaineth full strength and reacheth forty years, he saith: My Lord! Arouse me that I may give thanks for the favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and that I may do right acceptable unto Thee. And be gracious unto me in the matter of my seed. Lo! I have turned unto Thee repentant, and lo! I am of those who surrender (unto Thee).

We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."

We have charged man, that he be kind to his parents; his mother bore him painfully, and painfully she gave birth to him; his bearing and his weaning are thirty months. Until, when he is fully grown, and reaches forty years, he says, 'O my Lord, dispose me that I may be thankful for Thy blessing wherewith Thou hast blessed me and my father and mother, and that I may do righteousness well-pleasing to Thee; and make me righteous also in my seed. Behold, I repent to Thee, and am among those that surrender.'

و انسان را درباره پدر و مادرش به نیکی سفارش کردیم. مادرش او را با تحمل رنج و زحمت باردار شد و با رنج و زحمت او را زایید. و دوران بارداری و باز گرفتنش از شیر سی ماه است، تا زمانی که به رشد و نیرومندی خود و به چهل سالگی برسد، گوید: پروردگارا! به من الهام کن تا نعمتت را که بر من و پدر و مادرم عطا کرده ای سپاس گزارم، و کار شایسته ای که آن را می پسندی انجام دهم و ذریه و نسل مرا برای من صالح و شایسته گردان که من به سوی تو بازگشتم و به یقین از تسلیم شدگان [به فرمان ها و احکام] توام.

و انسان را [نسبت‌] به پدر و مادرش به احسان سفارش کردیم. مادرش با تحمّل رنج به او باردار شد و با تحمّل رنج او را به دنیا آورد. و باربرداشتن و از شیرگرفتن او سی ماه است، تا آنگاه که به رشد کامل خود برسد و به چهل سال برسد، می‌گوید: «پروردگارا، بر دلم بیفکن تا نعمتی را که به من و به پدر و مادرم ارزانی داشته‌ای سپاس گویم و کار شایسته‌ای انجام دهم که آن را خوش داری، و فرزندانم را برایم شایسته گردان؛ در حقیقت، من به درگاه تو توبه آوردم و من از فرمان‌پذیرانم.»

Biz insana, anne ve babasına karşı iyi davranmasını tavsiye etmişizdir; zira annesi, onu, karnında, zorluğa uğrayarak taşımış; onu güçlükle doğurmuştur. Taşınması ve sütten kesilmesi otuz ay sürer. Sonunda erginlik çağına erince ve kırk yaşına varınca: "Rabbim! Bana ve anne babama verdiğin nimete şükretmemi ve benim hoşnut olacağın yararlı bir işi yapmamı sağla; bana verdiğin gibi soyuma da salah ver; doğrusu Sana yöneldim, ben, kendini Sana verenlerdenim" demesi gerekir.

Kami perintahkan kepada manusia supaya berbuat baik kepada dua orang ibu bapaknya, ibunya mengandungnya dengan susah payah, dan melahirkannya dengan susah payah (pula). Mengandungnya sampai menyapihnya adalah tiga puluh bulan, sehingga apabila dia telah dewasa dan umurnya sampai empat puluh tahun ia berdoa: "Ya Tuhanku, tunjukilah aku untuk mensyukuri nikmat Engkau yang telah Engkau berikan kepadaku dan kepada ibu bapakku dan supaya aku dapat berbuat amal yang saleh yang Engkau ridhai; berilah kebaikan kepadaku dengan (memberi kebaikan) kepada anak cucuku. Sesungguhnya aku bertaubat kepada Engkau dan sesungguhnya aku termasuk orang-orang yang berserah diri".

اور ہم نے انسان کو اس کے ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیک برتاؤ کرنے کی نصیحت کی کہ اس کی ماں نے بڑے رنج کے ساتھ اسے شکم میں رکھا ہے اور پھر بڑی تکلیف کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کے حمل اور دودھ بڑھائی کا کل زمانہ تیس مہینے کا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ توانائی کو پہنچ گیا اور چالیس برس کا ہوگیا تو اس نے دعا کی کہ پروردگار مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکریہ ادا کروں جو تو نے مجھے اور میرے والدین کو عطا کی ہے اور ایسا نیک عمل کروں کہ تو راضی ہوجائے اور میری ذریت میں بھی صلاح و تقویٰ قرار دے کہ میں تیری ہی طرف متوجہ ہوں اور تیرے فرمانبردار بندوں میں ہوں

আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি। তার জননী তাকে কষ্টসহকারে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ্টসহকারে প্রসব করেছে। তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত্রিশ মাস। অবশেষে সে যখন শক্তি-সামর্থে?480; বয়সে ও চল্লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে, তখন বলতে লাগল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ্য দান কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি, যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকাজ করি। আমার সন্তানদেরকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের অন্যতম।
