Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - to those who believed among them, "Do you [actually] know that Salih is sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which he was sent, are believers."

The elite of his people who were arrogant said to those who were oppressed—to those among them who had faith—‘Do you know that Salih has been sent by his Lord?’ They said, ‘We indeed believe in what he has been sent with.’

The chieftains of his people, who were scornful, said unto those whom they despised, unto such of them as believed: Know ye that Salih is one sent from his Lord? They said: Lo! In that wherewith he hath been sent we are believers.

The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: "know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him."

Said the Council of those of his people who waxed proud to those that were abased, to those of them who believed, 'Do you know that Salih is an Envoy from his Lord?' They said, 'In the Message he has been sent with we are believers.'

اشراف و سران قومش که تکبّر و سرکشی می ورزیدند به مستضعفانی که ایمان آورده بودند، گفتند: آیا شما یقین دارید که صالح از سوی پروردگارش فرستاده شده؟ گفتند: به طور یقین ما به آیینی که فرستاده شده مؤمنیم.

سران قوم او که استکبار می‌ورزیدند، به مستضعفانی که ایمان آورده بودند، گفتند: «آیا می‌دانید که صالح از طرف پروردگارش فرستاده شده است؟» گفتند: «بی‌تردید، ما به آنچه وی بدان رسالت یافته است مؤمنیم.»

Milletinin büyüklük taslayan ileri gelenleri, aralarından iman eden ve bu sebeple hor gördükleri kimselere, "Salih'in Rabbi tarafından gönderildiğini sahiden biliyor musunuz?" dediler, onlar da, "Doğrusu biz onunla gönderilene inanıyoruz" dediler.

Pemuka-pemuka yang menyombongkan diri di antara kaumnya berkata kepada orang-orang yang dianggap lemah yang telah beriman di antara mereka: "Tahukah kamu bahwa Shaleh di utus (menjadi rasul) oleh Tuhannya?". Mereka menjawab: "Sesungguhnya kami beriman kepada wahyu, yang Shaleh diutus untuk menyampaikannya".

تو ان کی قوم کے بڑے لوگوں نے کمزور بنادئیے جانے والے لوگوں میں سے جو ایمان لائے تھے ان سے کہنا شروع کیا کہ کیا تمہیں اس کا یقین ہے کہ صالح علیھ السّلامخدا کی طرف سے بھیجے گئے ہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ بیشک ہمیں ان کے پیغام کا ایمان اور ایقان حاصل ہے

তার সম্প্রদায়ের দাম্ভিক সর্দাররা ঈমানদার দারিদ্রদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করলঃ তোমরা কি বিশ্বাস কর যে সালেহ কে তার পালনকর্তা প্রেরণ করেছেন; তারা বলল আমরা তো তার আনীত বিষয়ের প্রতি বিশ্বাসী।
