And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, "Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them." Said those who prevailed in the matter, "We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid."

So it was that We let them come upon them, that they might know that Allah’s promise is true, and that there is no doubt in the Hour. As they disputed among themselves about their matter, they said, ‘Build a building over them. Their Lord knows them best.’ Those who had the say in their matter said, ‘We will set up a place of worship over them.’

And in like manner We disclosed them (to the people of the city) that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that, as for the Hour, there is no doubt concerning it. When (the people of the city) disputed of their case among themselves, they said: Build over them a building; their Lord knoweth best concerning them. Those who won their point said: We verily shall build a place of worship over them.

Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them."

And even so We made them stumble upon them, that they might know that God's promise is true, and that the Hour -- there is no doubt of it. When they were contending among themselves of their affair then they said, 'Build over them a building; their Lord knows of them very well.' Said those who prevailed over their affair, 'We will raise over them a place of worship.'

و این گونه [مردم آن شهر را به وسیله آن سکه قدیمی] از حال آنان آگاه کردیم تا بدانند که وعده خدا [در برانگیختن مردگان در روز قیامت] حق است و در برپا شدن قیامت هیچ تردیدی نیست. هنگامی که [کاشفانِ غار] میان خودشان در کار آنان نزاع و ستیز داشتند، پس [یک گروه] گفتند: ساختمانی به روی [جایگاه] آنان بنا کنید [تا از دیده ها پنهان بمانند] البته پروردگارشان به آنان داناتر است. ولی آنان که بر کارشان [نسبت به اصحاب کهف] پیروز شدند، گفتند: به یقین مسجدی بر روی [جایگاه] آنان بنا خواهیم کرد.

و بدین گونه [مردم آن دیار را] بر حالشان آگاه ساختیم تا بدانند که وعده خدا راست است و [در فرا رسیدن‌] قیامت هیچ شکی نیست، هنگامی که میان خود در کارشان با یکدیگر نزاع می‌کردند، پس [عده‌ای ]گفتند: «بر روی آنها ساختمانی بنا کنید، پروردگارشان به [حال‌] آنان داناتر است.» [سرانجام‌] کسانی که بر کارشان غلبه یافتند گفتند: «حتماً بر ایشان معبدی بنا خواهیم کرد.»

Böylece, Allah'ın sözünün gerçek olduğunu ve kıyametin kopmasından şüphe edilemeyeceğini bilmeleri için, insanların onları bulmalarını sağladık. Nitekim halk, bunların hakkında çekişip duruyor: "Onların mağaralarının çevresine bir bina kurun" diyorlardı. Oysa, Rableri onları çok iyi bilir. Tartışmayı kazananlar: "Onların mağaralarının çevresinde mutlaka bir mescid kuracağız" dediler.

Dan demikian (pula) Kami mempertemukan (manusia) dengan mereka, agar manusia itu mengetahui, bahwa janji Allah itu benar, dan bahwa kedatangan hari kiamat tidak ada keraguan padanya. Ketika orang-orang itu berselisih tentang urusan mereka, orang-orang itu berkata: "Dirikan sebuah bangunan di atas (gua) mereka, Tuhan mereka lebih mengetahui tentang mereka". Orang-orang yang berkuasa atas urusan mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami akan mendirikan sebuah rumah peribadatan di atasnya".

اور اس طرح ہم نے قوم کو ان کے حالات پر مطلع کردیا تاکہ انہیں معلوم ہوجائے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچاّ ہے اور قیامت میں کسی طرح کا شبہ نہیں ہے جب یہ لوگ آپس میں ان کے بارے میں جھگڑا کررہے تھے اور یہ طے کررہے تھے کہ ان کے غار پر ایک عمارت بنادی جائے-خدا ان کے بارے میں بہتر جانتا ہے اور جو لوگ دوسروں کی رائے پر غالب آئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم ان پر مسجد بنائیں گے

এমনিভাবে আমি তাদের খবর প্রকাশ করে দিলাম, যাতে তারা জ্ঞাত হয় যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য এবং কেয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। যখন তারা নিজেদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করছিল, তখন তারা বললঃ তাদের উপর সৌধ নির্মাণ কর। তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের বিষয়ে ভাল জানেন। তাদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে যাদের মত প্রবল হল, তারা বললঃ আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের স্থানে মসজিদ নির্মান করব।
