مَرْيَمَ إِلَىٰ ذَاتِ ﴿٥٠﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

سرزمینی مرتفع» دارای امنیت و آب جاری

در این که منظور از چنین سرزمینی کدام سرزمین است» در میان مفسران گفت‌وگوی بسیار است. بعضی آن را ناصره (از شهرهای شام) - زادگاه حضرت مسیح(ع) - می‌دانند؛ چرا که به هنگام تولد این پیامبر» گروهی از دشمنان که خبر تولد او و آیندةٌ وی را اجمالا دریافته بودنده در صدد نابودی‌اش برآمدند؛ اما خداوند او را در آن محل امن و امان و پرنعمت حفظ کرد. بعضی دیگر آن را اشاره به سرزمین مصر می‌دانند؛ چرا که عیسی(ع) و مادرش مریم(س) مدتی از عمر خود را برای نجات از چنگال دشمنان به سرزمین مصر پناه بردند. بعضی دیگر آن را سرزمین «دمشق» و بعضی سرزمین «رمله» (یکی از شهرهای شمال شرقی بیت‌المقدس) تفسیر کرده‌اند؛ چرا که مسیح و مادرش قسمتی از عمر خود را در هر یک از این مناطق گذراندند. این احتمال نیز وجود دارد که این جمله اشاره به محل تولد مسیح(ع) در بیابان بیت‌المقدس باشد؛ جایی که خداوند آن را محل امنی برای این فرزند و مادر قرار داد و آب گوارا در آن جاری کرد و از درخت خشکیدة خرما به او روزی داد. در برخی از روایاتی که از امامان اهل بیت(ع) نقل شده» این مکان به سرزمین نجف و کوفه تفسیر شده است.
