قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

ای جامه به خود پیچیده!

از سیاق آیات این سوره - و سورة مدتّر - استفاده می‌شود که پیامیر(ع) در دعوتش» با استهزا و اذیت مشرکان مواجه شد. پس به خاطر این که در این وظیفةٌ الهی با چنین مشکلی برخورد کرد غمگین شد و برای رفع این اندوه» جامه‌ای به خود پیچید و به استراحت پرداخت. پس به او خطاب شد که «ای جامه به خود پیچیده» و سپس به شب‌زنده‌داری و نماز و صبر در برابر انچه کافران می‌گویند.ء فرمان داده شد؛ چنان که در ید ۱۵۳ سور بقره نیز آمده است: «از صبر و نماز کمک بگیرید.» پس پیامبر(ص) مأُمور شد که در مقابل آن سختی‌ها و مشکلات تلخ, از نماز و صبر یاری جوید و بدین وسیله مقاومت کند؛ نه با جامه به خود پیچیدن و خواب و استراحت.

    Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah…
