They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allah that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.' "

They said, ‘Swear by Allah that we will attack him and his family by night. Then we will tell his heir that we were not present at the murder of his family and that we speak the truth.’

They said: Swear one to another by Allah that we verily will attack him and his household by night, and afterward we will surely say unto his friend: We witnessed not the destruction of his household. And lo! we are truthtellers.

They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"

they said, 'Swear you, one to another, by God, "We will attack him and his family by night, then we will tell his protector, We were not witnesses of the destruction of his family; and assuredly we are truthful men."'

[آنان به یکدیگر] گفتند: هم قسم شوید که حتماً به صالح و خانواده اش شبیخون می زنیم [تا همه را نابود کنیم]، آن گاه به خونخواهش بگوییم: ما زمان هلاک شدن خانواده اش حضور نداشتیم و یقیناً راستگوییم.

[با هم‌] گفتند: «با یکدیگر سوگند بخورید که: حتماً به [صالح‌] و کسانش شبیخون می‌زنیم، سپس به ولیّ او خواهیم گفت: ما در محل قتل کسانش حاضر نبودیم، و ما قطعاً راست می‌گوییم.»

"Biz gece ona ve ailesine baskın verelim, sonra da onun dostuna, ailesinin yok edilişinde bulunmadık, şüphesiz biz doğru söylüyoruz, diyelim" diye aralarında Allah'a yemin ettiler.

Mereka berkata: "Bersumpahlah kamu dengan nama Allah, bahwa kita sungguh-sungguh akan menyerangnya dengan tiba-tiba beserta keluarganya di malam hari, kemudian kita katakan kepada warisnya (bahwa) kita tidak menyaksikan kematian keluarganya itu, dan sesungguhnya kita adalah orang-orang yang benar".

ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ تم سب آپس میں خدا کی قسم کھاؤ کہ صالح اور ان کے گھر والوں پر راتوں رات حملہ کردو گے اور بعد میں ان کے وارثوں سے کہہ دو گے کہ ہم ان کے گھر والوں کی ہلاکت کے وقت موجود ہی نہیں تھے اور ہم اپنے بیان میں بالکل سچےّ ہیں

তারা বলল, তোমরা পরস্পরে আল্লাহর নামে শপথ গ্রহণ কর যে, আমরা রাত্রিকালে তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে হত্যা করব। অতঃপর তার দাবীদারকে বলে দেব যে, তার পরিবারবর্গের হত্যাকান্ড আমরা প্রত্যক্ষ করিনি। আমরা নিশ্চয়ই সত্যবাদী।
