And [We cursed them] for their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs of Allah and their killing of the prophets without right and their saying, "Our hearts are wrapped". Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.

Then because of their breaking their covenant, their defiance of Allah’s signs, their killing of the prophets unjustly and for their saying, ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised’… Indeed, Allah has set a seal on them for their unfaith, so they do not have faith except a few.

Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their disbelieving in the revelations of Allah, and their slaying of the prophets wrongfully, and their saying: Our hearts are hardened - Nay, but Allah set a seal upon them for their disbelief, so that they believe not save a few -

(They have incurred divine displeasure): In that they broke their covenant; that they rejected the signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; We need no more)";- Nay, Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy, and little is it they believe;-

So, for their breaking the compact, and disbelieving in the signs of God, and slaying the Prophets without right, and for their saying, 'Our hearts are uncircumcised' -- nay, but God sealed them for their unbelief, so they believe not, except a few --

پس به کیفر پیمان شکنی آنان و کفرشان به آیات خدا، و به ناحق کشتن پیامبران، و گفتار [بی پایه و باطل] شان که دل های ما در پوشش و حجاب است [از این رو سخن حق را درک نمی کنیم، لعنتشان کردیم؛] بلکه به سبب کفرشان بر دل هایشان مُهرِ [محرومیت از فهم معارف] زدیم؛ به همین سبب جز اندکی ایمان نمی آورند.

پس به [سزای‌] پیمان‌شکنی‌شان، و انکارشان نسبت به آیات خدا، و کشتار ناحق آنان [از] انبیا، و گفتارشان که: «دلهای ما در غلاف است» [لعنتشان کردیم‌] بلکه خدا به خاطر کفرشان بر دلهایشان مُهر زده و در نتیجه جز شماری اندک [از ایشان‌] ایمان نمی‌آورند.

Sözleşmelerini bozmaları, Allah'ın ayetlerini inkar etmeleri, peygamberleri haksız yere öldürmeleri, "Kalblerimiz perdelidir" demelerinden ötürü Allah, evet, inkarlarına karşılık onların kalblerini mühürledi, onun için bunların ancak pek azı inanır.

Maka (Kami lakukan terhadap mereka beberapa tindakan), disebabkan mereka melanggar perjanjian itu, dan karena kekafiran mereka terhadap keterangan-keterangan Allah dan mereka membunuh nabi-nabi tanpa (alasan) yang benar dan mengatakan: "Hati kami tertutup". Bahkan, sebenarnya Allah telah mengunci mati hati mereka karena kekafirannya, karena itu mereka tidak beriman kecuali sebahagian kecil dari mereka.

پس ان کے عہد کو توڑ دینے ,آیات هخدا کے انکار کرنے اور انبیائ کو ناحق قتل کر دینے اور یہ کہنے کی بنا پر کہ ہمارے دلوں پر فطرتا غلاف چڑھے ہوئے ہیں حالانکہ ایسا نہیں ہے بلکہ خدا نے ان کے کفر کی بنا پر ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگادی ہے اور اب چند ایک کے علاوہ کوئی ایمان نہ لائے گا

অতএব, তারা যে শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা ছিল তাদেরই অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গর জন্য এবং অন্যায়ভাবে রসূলগণকে হত্যা করার কারণে এবং তাদের এই উক্তির দরুন যে, আমাদের হৃদয় আচ্ছন্ন। অবশ্য তা নয়, বরং কুফরীর কারণে স্বয়ং আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরের উপর মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন। ফলে এরা ঈমান আনে না কিন্তু অতি অল্পসংখ্যক।
