And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -

Thus have We imbued you with a Spirit of Our command. You did not know what the Book is, nor what is faith; but We made it a light that We may guide by its means whomever We wish of Our servants. Indeed, you guide to a straight path,

And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou knewest not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path,

And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,-

Even so We have revealed to thee a Spirit of Our bidding. Thou knewest not what the Book was, nor belief; but We made it a light, whereby We guide whom We will of Our servants. And thou, surely thou shalt guide unto a straight path --

و همان گونه [که بر پیامبران پیشین وحی کردیم] روحی را [چون قرآن] از امر خود به تو وحی کردیم. تو [پیش از این] نمی دانستی کتاب و ایمان چیست؟ ولی آن [کتاب] را نوری قرار دادیم که هر کس از بندگانمان را بخواهیم به وسیله آن هدایت می کنیم؛ بی تردید تو [مردم را] به راهی راست هدایت می نمایی.

وهمین گونه، روحی از امر خودمان به سوی تو وحی کردیم. تو نمی‌دانستی کتاب چیست و نه ایمان [کدام است؟] ولی آن را نوری گردانیدیم که هر که از بندگان خود را بخواهیم به وسیله آن راه می‌نماییم، و به راستی که تو به خوبی به راه راست هدایت می‌کنی.

İşte sana da buyruğumuzla Cebrail'i gönderdik; sen Kitap nedir, iman nedir önceleri bilmezdin, fakat Biz onu, kullarımızdan dilediğimizi onunla doğru yola eriştirdiğimiz bir nur kıldık. Şüphesiz sen de insanlara, göklerde ve yerde ne varsa kendisininolan Allah'ın yolunu, doğru yolu göstermektesin. İyi bilin ki işler sonunda Allah'a döner.

Dan demikianlah Kami wahyukan kepadamu wahyu (Al Quran) dengan perintah Kami. Sebelumnya kamu tidaklah mengetahui apakah Al Kitab (Al Quran) dan tidak pula mengetahui apakah iman itu, tetapi Kami menjadikan Al Quran itu cahaya, yang Kami tunjuki dengan dia siapa yang kami kehendaki di antara hamba-hamba Kami. Dan sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar memberi petunjuk kepada jalan yang lurus.

اور اسی طرح ہم نے آپ کی طرف اپنے حکم سے روح (قرآن) کی وحی کی ہے آپ کونہیں معلوم تھا کہ کتاب کیا ہے اورایمان کن چیزوں کا نام ہے لیکن ہم نے اسے ایک نور قرار دیا ہے جس کے ذریعہ اپنے بندوں میں جسے چاہتے ہیں اسے ہدایت دے دیتے ہیں اور بیشک آپ لوگوں کو سیدھے راستہ کی ہدایت کررہے ہیں

এমনিভাবে আমি আপনার কাছে এক ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করেছি আমার আদেশক্রমে। আপনি জানতেন না, কিতাব কি এবং ঈমান কি? কিন্তু আমি একে করেছি নূর, যাদ্দ্বারা আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করি। নিশ্চয় আপনি সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেন-
