Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers.

Will you not make war on a people who broke their pledges and resolved to expel the Apostle, and opened [hostilities] against you initially? Do you fear them? But Allah is worthier of being feared by you, should you be faithful.

Will ye not fight a folk who broke their solemn pledges, and purposed to drive out the messenger and did attack you first? What! Fear ye them? Now Allah hath more right that ye should fear Him, if ye are believers

Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe!

Will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and purposed to expel the Messenger, beginning the first time against you? Are you afraid of them? You would do better to be afraid of God, if you are believers.

چرا و برای چه نمی جنگید؟ آن هم با گروهی که پیمان های خود را شکستند، و عزمشان را بر بیرون کردن پیامبر از وطنش جزم کردند و هم آنان بودند که نخستین بار با شما جنگیدند، آیا از آنان می ترسید؟! در صورتی که اگر مؤمن هستید، خدا سزاوارتر است که از او بترسید.

چرا با گروهی که سوگندهای خود را شکستند و بر آن شدند که فرستاده [خدا] را بیرون کنند، و آنان بودند که نخستین‌بار [جنگ را] با شما آغاز کردند، نمی‌جنگید؟ آیا از آنان می‌ترسید؟ با اینکه اگر مؤمنید خدا سزاوارتر است که از او بترسید.

Yeminlerini bozan, Peygamberi sürgüne göndermeye azmeden bir toplumla savaşmanız gerekmez mi ki, önce onlar başlamışlardır? Onlardan korkar mısınız? Eğer inanıyorsanız bilin ki asıl korkmanız gereken Allah'tır.

Mengapakah kamu tidak memerangi orang-orang yang merusak sumpah (janjinya), padahal mereka telah keras kemauannya untuk mengusir Rasul dan merekalah yang pertama mulai memerangi kamu? Mengapakah kamu takut kepada mereka padahal Allah-lah yang berhak untuk kamu takuti, jika kamu benar-benar orang yang beriman.

کیا تم اس قوم سے جہاد نہ کرو گے جس نے اپنے عہد و پیمان کو توڑ دیا ہے اور رسول کو وطن سے نکال دینے کا ارادہ بھی کرلیا ہے اور تمہارے مقابلہ میں مظالم کی پہل بھی کی ہے -کیا تم ان سے ڈرتے ہو تو خدا زیادہ حقدار ہے کہ اس کا خوف پیدا کرو اگر تم صاحب ه ایمان ہو

তোমরা কি সেই দলের সাথে যুদ্ধ করবে না; যারা ভঙ্গ করেছে নিজেদের শপথ এবং সঙ্কল্প নিয়েছে রসূলকে বহিস্কারের? আর এরাই প্রথম তোমাদের সাথে বিবাদের সূত্রপাত করেছে। তোমরা কি তাদের ভয় কর? অথচ তোমাদের ভয়ের অধিকতর যোগ্য হলেন আল্লাহ, যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও।
