The angels said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?"

They said, ‘O Lot, we are messengers of your Lord. They will never get at you. Set out with your family in a watch of the night; and none of you shall turn round, except your wife; indeed she will be struck by what strikes them. Indeed their tryst is the dawn. Is not the dawn [already] near?’

(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh?

(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"

They said, 'Lot, we are messengers of thy Lord. They shall not reach thee; so set forth, thou with thy family, in a watch of the night, and let not any one of you turn round, excepting thy wife; surely she shall be smitten by that which smites them. Their promised time is the morning; is the morning not nigh?'

[میهمانان] گفتند: ای لوط! ما فرستادگان پروردگار توایم، آنان هرگز به تو دسترسی پیدا نمی کنند، پس خانواده ات را در پاره ای از [همین] شب حرکت ده و نباید هیچ یک از شما به سوی شهر بازگردد، اما همسرت را با خود مبر زیرا عذابی که به تبهکاران می رسد به او هم خواهد رسید. یقیناً وعده گاهشان [برای دچار شدن به عذاب] صبح [فردا] است، آیا صبح نزدیک نیست؟

گفتند: «ای لوط، ما فرستادگان پروردگار توییم. آنان هرگز به تو دست نخواهند یافت. پس، پاسی از شب گذشته خانواده‌ات را حرکت ده -و هیچ کس از شما نباید واپس بنگرد- مگر زنت، که آنچه به ایشان رسد به او [نیز] خواهد رسید. بی‌گمان، وعده‌گاه آنان صبح است. مگر صبح نزدیک نیست؟»

"Ey Lut! Biz Rabbinin elçileriyiz, onlar sana ilişemiyecekler; geceleyin bir ara, ailenle beraber yola çık; karının dışında kimse geri kalmasın. Doğrusu onların başına gelen onun başına da gelecektir. Vadeleri gün doğana kadardır. Gün doğması yakın değil mi?" dediler.

Para utusan (malaikat) berkata: "Hai Luth, sesungguhnya kami adalah utusan-utusan Tuhanmu, sekali-kali mereka tidak akan dapat mengganggu kamu, sebab itu pergilah dengan membawa keluarga dan pengikut-pengikut kamu di akhir malam dan janganlah ada seorangpun di antara kamu yang tertinggal, kecuali isterimu. Sesungguhnya dia akan ditimpa azab yang menimpa mereka karena sesungguhnya saat jatuhnya azab kepada mereka ialah di waktu subuh; bukankah subuh itu sudah dekat?".

تو فرشتوں نے کہا کہ ہم آپ کے پروردگار کے نمائندے ہیں یہ ظالم آپ تک ہرگز نہیں پہنچ سکتے ہیں -آپ اپنے گھر والوں کو لے کر رات کے کسے حّصے میں چلے جائیے اور کوئی شخص کسی کی طرف مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھے سوائے آپ کی زوجہ کے کہ اس تک وہی عذاب آنے والا ہے جو قوم تک آنے والا ہے ان کا وقت مقرر ہنگام هصبح ہے اور کیا صبح قریب نہیں ہے

মেহমান ফেরেশতাগন বলল-হে লূত (আঃ) আমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতা। এরা কখনো তোমার দিকে পৌঁছাতে পারবে না। ব্যস তুমি কিছুটা রাত থাকতে থাকতে নিজের লোকজন নিয়ে বাইরে চলে যাও। আর তোমাদের কেউ যেন পিছনে ফিরে না তাকায়। কিন্তু তোমার স্ত্রী নিশ্চয় তার উপরও তা আপতিত হবে, যা ওদের উপর আপতিত হবে। ভোর বেলাই তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়, ভোর কি খুব নিকটে নয়?
