Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.

Ah! There you are, being invited to spend in the way of Allah; yet among you there are those who are stingy; and whoever is stingy is stingy only to himself. Allah is the All-sufficient, and you are all-needy, and if you turn away He will replace you with another people, and they will not be like you.

Lo! ye are those who are called to spend in the way of Allah, yet among you there are some who hoard. And as for him who hoardeth, he hoardeth only from his soul. And Allah is the Rich, and ye are the poor. And if ye turn away He will exchange you for some other folk, and they will not be the likes of you.

Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!

Ha, there you are; you are called upon to expend in God's way, and some of you are niggardly. Whoso is niggardly is niggardly only to his own soul. God is the All-sufficient; you are the needy ones. If you turn away, He will substitute another people instead of you, then they will not be your likes.

آگاه باشید! شما همان مردمی هستید که برای انفاق در راه خدا دعوت می شوید، پس برخی از شما بخل می ورزند، و هر که بخل پیشه کند، فقط نسبت به [سعادت و خوشبختی] خود بخیل است، و خدا [از انفاق و صدقات شما] بی نیاز است، و شمایید که نیازمند هستید؛ و اگر [از فرمان های او] روی بگردانید به جای شما گروه دیگری را می آورد که مانند شما [روی گردان، سست عقیده و بخیل] نخواهند بود.

شما همان [مردمی‌] هستید که برای انفاق در راه خدا فرا خوانده شده‌اید. پس برخی از شما بخل می‌ورزند، و هر کس بخل ورزد تنها به زیان خود بخل ورزیده، و [گرنه‌] خدا بی‌نیاز است و شما نیازمندید؛ و اگر روی برتابید [خدا] جای شما را به مردمی غیر از شما خواهد داد که مانند شما نخواهند بود.

İşte sizler, Allah yolunda sarfetmeye çağırılan kimselersiniz. Kiminiz cimrilik yapıyor ama, cimrilik yapan bilsin ki, ancak kendine karşı cimrilik etmiş olur. Allah zengindir, siz ise fakirsiniz. Eğer O'ndan yüz çevirirseniz sizi ortadan kaldırır, sizin gibi olmayacak bir milleti yerinize getirir.

Ingatlah, kamu ini orang-orang yang diajak untuk menafkahkan (hartamu) pada jalan Allah. Maka di antara kamu ada yang kikir, dan siapa yang kikir sesungguhnya dia hanyalah kikir terhadap dirinya sendiri. Dan Allah-lah yang Maha Kaya sedangkan kamulah orang-orang yang berkehendak (kepada-Nya); dan jika kamu berpaling niscaya Dia akan mengganti (kamu) dengan kaum yang lain; dan mereka tidak akan seperti kamu ini.

ہاں ہاں تم وہی لوگ ہو جنہیں راہ خدا میں خرچ کرنے کے لئے بلایا جاتا ہے تو تم میں سے بعض لوگ بخل کرنے لگتے ہیں اور جو لوگ بخل کرتے ہیں وہ اپنے ہی حق میں بخل کرتے ہیں اور خدا سب سے بے نیاز ہے تم ہی سب اس کے فقیر اور محتاج ہو اور اگر تم منہ پھیر لو گے تو وہ تمہارے بدلے دوسری قوم کو لے آئے گا جو اس کے بعد تم جیسے نہ ہوں گے

শুন, তোমরাই তো তারা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার আহবান জানানো হচ্ছে, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কৃপণতা করছে। যারা কৃপণতা করছে, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিই কৃপণতা করছে। আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্থ। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য জাতিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন, এরপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না।
