The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.

The parable of what they spend in the life of this world is that of a cold wind that strikes the tillage of a people who wronged themselves, destroying it. Allah does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves.

The likeness of that which they spend in this life of the world is as the likeness of a biting, icy wind which smiteth the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves, and devastateth it. Allah wronged them not, but they do wrong themselves.

What they spend in the life of this (material) world May be likened to a wind which brings a nipping frost: It strikes and destroys the harvest of men who have wronged their own souls: it is not Allah that hath wronged them, but they wrong themselves.

The likeness of that they expend in this present life is as the likeness of a freezing blast that smites the tillage of a people who wronged themselves, and it destroyed that; God wronged them not, but themselves they wronged.

داستان آنچه [کافران] در این زندگی دنیا انفاق می کنند، مانند بادی آمیخته با سرمایی سخت است که [به عنوان مجازات] به کشتزار قومی که بر خود ستم کرده اند برسد و آن را نابود کند؛ و خدا به آنان ستم نکرده است، ولی آنان به خویشتن ستم می ورزند.

مثَل آنچه [آنان‌] در زندگی این دنیا [در راه دشمنی با پیامبر] خرج می‌کنند، همانند بادی است که در آن، سرمای سختی است، که به کشتزار قومی که بر خود ستم نموده‌اند بوزد و آن را تباه سازد؛ و خدا به آنان ستم نکرده، بلکه آنان خود بر خویشتن ستم کرده‌اند.

Bu dünya hayatında sarfettiklerinin durumu, kendilerine zulmeden kimselerin ekinlerine isabetle kavurup mahveden soğuk bir rüzgarın durumu gibidir. Allah onlara zulmetmedi, onlar kendilerine yazık ettiler.

Perumpamaan harta yang mereka nafkahkan di dalam kehidupan dunia ini, adalah seperti perumpamaan angin yang mengandung hawa yang sangat dingin, yang menimpa tanaman kaum yang menganiaya diri sendiri, lalu angin itu merusaknya. Allah tidak menganiaya mereka, akan tetapi merekalah yang menganiaya diri mereka sendiri.

یہ لوگ زندگانی دنیا میں جو کچھ خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کی مثال اس ہوا کی ہے جس میں بہت پالا ہو اور وہ اس قوم کے کھیتوں پر گر پڑے جنہوں نے اپنے اوپر ظلم کیا ہے اور اسے تباہ کردے اور یہ ظلم ان پر خدا نے نہیں کیا ہے بلکہ یہ خود اپنے اوپر ظلم کرتے ہیں

এ দুনিয়ার জীবনে যা কিছু ব্যয় করা হয়, তার তুলনা হলো ঝড়ো হাওয়ার মতো, যাতে রয়েছে তুষারের শৈত্য, যা সে জাতির শস্যক্ষেত্রে গিয়ে লেগেছে যারা নিজের জন্য মন্দ করেছে। অতঃপর সেগুলোকে নিঃশেষ করে দিয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাদের উপর কোন অন্যায় করেননি, কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের উপর অত্যাচার করছিল।
