قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَهُمْ سَفَهًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُوا۟ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفْتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ﴿١٤٠﴾
English
Saheeh International
Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.
Ali Quli Qarai
They are certainly losers who slay their children foolishly without knowledge, and forbid what Allah has provided them, fabricating a lie against Allah. Certainly, they have gone astray and are not guided.
Marmaduke Pickthall
They are losers who besottedly have slain their children without knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allah bestowed upon them, inventing a lie against Allah. They indeed have gone astray and are not guided.

انصاریان (Ansarian)
قطعاً کسانی که فرزندان خود را از روی سبک مغزی و جهالت کشته اند، و آنچه را خدا روزی آنان کرده بود بر پایه دروغ بستن به خدا حرام شمرده اند، زیان کردند؛ به راستی که گمراه شدند و هدایت یافته نبودند.
فولادوند (Fooladvand)
کسانی که از روی بیخردی و نادانی، فرزندان خود را کشتهاند، و آنچه را خدا روزیشان کرده بود -از راه افترا به خدا- حرام شمردهاند، سخت زیان کردند. آنان به راستی گمراه شده، و هدایت نیافتهاند.

নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে, যারা নিজ সন্তানদেরকে নির্বুদ্ধিতাবশতঃ কোন প্রমাণ ছাড়াই হত্যা করেছে এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যেসব দিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি ভ্রান্ত ধারণা পোষণ করে হারাম করে নিয়েছে। নিশ্চিতই তারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং সুপথগামী হয়নি।
