وَلَمَّا مِّنْ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا ﴿١٠١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].

  • وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا

  • أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ

    Did they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private conversations and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen?
