And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].

And when there came to them an apostle from Allah, confirming that which is with them, a part of those who were given the Book cast the Book of Allah behind their back, as if they did not know [that it is Allah’s Book].

And when there cometh unto them a messenger from Allah, confirming that which they possess, a party of those who have received the Scripture fling the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they knew not,

And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!

When there has come to them a Messenger from God confirming what was with them, a party of them that were given the Book reject the Book of God behind their backs, as though they knew not,

و زمانی که فرستاده ای از سوی خدا به سویشان آمد که تصدیق کننده کتابی است که با آنان است، گروهی از آنان که [دانش] کتاب به آنان داده شده بود [با کمال گستاخی] کتاب خدا را پشت سر انداختند [و با آن به مخالفت برخاستند]، گویی نمی دانند [که کلام خداست].

و آنگاه که فرستاده‌ای از جانب خداوند برایشان آمد -که آنچه را با آنان بود تصدیق می‌داشت- گروهی از اهل کتاب، کتاب خدا را پشت سر افکندند، چنانکه گویی [از آن هیچ‌] نمی‌دانند.

Yanlarındakini doğrulayan bir Peygamber, Allah katından onlara gelince Kitap verilenlerden bir takımı, bilmiyorlarmış gibi, Allah'ın Kitabı'nı arkalarına attılar.

Dan setelah datang kepada mereka seorang Rasul dari sisi Allah yang membenarkan apa (kitab) yang ada pada mereka, sebahagian dari orang-orang yang diberi kitab (Taurat) melemparkan kitab Allah ke belakang (punggung)nya, seolah-olah mereka tidak mengetahui (bahwa itu adalah kitab Allah).

اور جب ان کے پاس خدا کی طرف سے سابق کی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والا رسول آیا تو اہلِ کتاب کی ایک جماعت نے کتابِ خدا کو پبُ پشت ڈال دیا جیسے وہ اسے جانتے ہی نہ ہوں

যখন তাদের কাছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে একজন রসূল আগমন করলেন-যিনি ঐ কিতাবের সত্যায়ন করেন, যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে, তখন আহলে কেতাবদের একদল আল্লাহর গ্রন্থকে পশ্চাতে নিক্ষেপ করল-যেন তারা জানেই না।
