And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.

Among the people is he whose talk about worldly life impresses you, and he holds Allah witness to what is in his heart, though he is the staunchest of enemies.

And of mankind there is he whoso conversation on the life of this world pleaseth thee (Muhammad), and he calleth Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart; yet he is the most rigid of opponents.

There is the type of man whose speech about this world's life May dazzle thee, and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies.

And some men there are whose saying upon the present world pleases thee, and such a one calls on God to witness what is in his heart, yet he is most stubborn in altercation,

و از مردم کسی است که گفتارش در زندگی دنیا تو را خوش آید، و [برای اینکه چنین وانمود کند که زبانش با دلش یکی است] خدا را بر آنچه در دل دارد شاهد می گیرد، در حالی که سرسخت ترین دشمنان است.

و از میان مردم کسی است که در زندگی این دنیا سخنش تو را به تعجّب وامی‌دارد، و خدا را بر آنچه در دل دارد گواه می‌گیرد، و حال آنکه او سخت‌ترین دشمنان است.

Dünya hayatına dair konuşması senin hoşuna giden, pek azılı düşman iken, kalbinde olana Allah'ı şahid tutan, işbaşına geçince, yeryüzünde bozgunculuk yapmaya, ekin ve nesli yok etmeğe çabalayan insanlar vardır. Allah bozgunculuğu sevmez.

Dan di antara manusia ada orang yang ucapannya tentang kehidupan dunia menarik hatimu, dan dipersaksikannya kepada Allah (atas kebenaran) isi hatinya, padahal ia adalah penantang yang paling keras.

انسانوں میں ایسے لوگ بھی ہیں جن کی باتیں زندگانی دنیا میںبھلی لگتی ہیں اور وہ اپنے دل کی باتوں پر خدا کو گواہ بناتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ بدترین دشمن ہیں

আর এমন কিছু লোক রযেছে যাদের পার্থিব জীবনের কথাবার্তা তোমাকে চমৎকৃত করবে। আর তারা সাক্ষ্য স্থাপন করে আল্লাহকে নিজের মনের কথার ব্যাপারে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারা কঠিন ঝগড়াটে লোক।
