And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.

If [the debtor] is in straits, let there be a respite until the time of ease; and if you remit [the debt] as charity, it will be better for you, should you know.

And if the debtor is in straitened circumstances, then (let there be) postponement to (the time of) ease; and that ye remit the debt as almsgiving would be better for you if ye did but know.

If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time Till it is easy for him to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if ye only knew.

And if any man should be in difficulties, let him have respite till things are easier; but that you should give freewill offerings is better for you, did you but know.

و اگر [بدهکار] تنگدست بود [بر شماست که] او را تا هنگام توانایی مهلت دهید؛ و بخشیدن همه وام [و چشم پوشی و گذشت از آن در صورتی که توانایی پرداختش را ندارد] اگر [فضیلت وثوابش را] بدانید برای شما بهتر است.

و اگر [بدهکارتان‌] تنگدست باشد، پس تا [هنگام‌] گشایش، مهلتی [به او دهید]؛ و [اگر به راستی قدرت پرداخت ندارد،] بخشیدن آن برای شما بهتر است-اگر بدانید.

Borçlu darda ise, eli genişleyinceye kadar ona mühlet verin. Bilmiş olsanız borcu bağışlamanız sizin için daha hayırlıdır.

Dan jika (orang yang berhutang itu) dalam kesukaran, maka berilah tangguh sampai dia berkelapangan. Dan menyedekahkan (sebagian atau semua utang) itu, lebih baik bagimu, jika kamu mengetahui.

اور اگر تمہارا مقروض تنگ دست ہے تو اسے وسعت حال تک مہلت دی جائے گی اور اگرتم معاف کردو گے توتمہارے حق میں زیادہ بہتر ہے بشرطیکہ تم اسے سمجھ سکو

যদি খাতক অভাবগ্রস্থ হয়, তবে তাকে সচ্ছলতা আসা পর্যন্ত সময় দেয়া উচিত। আর যদি ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে তা খুবই উত্তম যদি তোমরা উপলব্ধি কর।
