[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.

[The charities are] for the poor who are straitened in the way of Allah, not capable of moving about in the land [for trade]. The unaware suppose them to be well-off because of their reserve. You recognize them by their mark; they do not ask the people importunately. And whatever wealth you may spend, Allah indeed knows it.

(Alms are) for the poor who are straitened for the cause of Allah, who cannot travel in the land (for trade). The unthinking man accounteth them wealthy because of their restraint. Thou shalt know them by their mark: They do not beg of men with importunity. And whatsoever good thing ye spend, lo! Allah knoweth it.

(Charity is) for those in need, who, in Allah's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land, seeking (For trade or work): the ignorant man thinks, because of their modesty, that they are free from want. Thou shalt know them by their (Unfailing) mark: They beg not importunately from all the sundry. And whatever of good ye give, be assured Allah knoweth it well.

it being for the poor who are restrained in the way of God, and are unable to journey in the land; the ignorant man supposes them rich because of their abstinence, but thou shalt know them by their mark -- they do not beg of men importunately. And whatever good you expend, surely God has knowledge of it.

[صدقاتْ] حقِّ نیازمندانی است که در راه خدا [به سبب جنگ یا طلب دانش یا بیماری یا عوامل دیگر] در مضیقه و تنگنا افتاده اند [و برای فراهم کردن هزینه زندگی] نمی توانند در زمین سفر کنند؛ فرد ناآگاه آنان را از شدت پارسایی وعفّتی که دارند توانگر و بی نیاز می پندارد. [تو ای رسول من!] آنان را از سیمایشان می شناسی. [آنان] از مردم به اصرار چیزی نمی خواهند. و شما ای اهل ایمان! آنچه از مال [با ارزش و بی عیب] انفاقکنید، یقیناً خدا به آن داناست.

[این صدقات‌] برای آن [دسته از] نیازمندانی است که در راه خدا فرومانده‌اند، و نمی‌توانند [برای تأمین هزینه زندگی‌] در زمین سفر کنند. از شدّت خویشتن‌داری، فرد بی‌اطلاع، آنان را توانگر می‌پندارد. آنها را از سیمایشان می‌شناسی. با اصرار، [چیزی‌] از مردم نمی‌خواهند. و هر مالی [به آنان‌] انفاق کنید، قطعاً خدا از آن آگاه است.

Sadakalarınızı, kendilerini Allah yoluna adayıp yeryüzünde dolaşamayanlara, hayalarından dolayı, kendilerini tanımayanların zengin saydıkları yoksullara verin. Onları yüzlerinden tanırsın, insanlardan yüzsüzlük ederek bir şey istemezler. Sarfettiğiniz iyi bir şeyi Allah şüphesiz bilir.

(Berinfaqlah) kepada orang-orang fakir yang terikat (oleh jihad) di jalan Allah; mereka tidak dapat (berusaha) di bumi; orang yang tidak tahu menyangka mereka orang kaya karena memelihara diri dari minta-minta. Kamu kenal mereka dengan melihat sifat-sifatnya, mereka tidak meminta kepada orang secara mendesak. Dan apa saja harta yang baik yang kamu nafkahkan (di jalan Allah), maka sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengatahui.

یہ صدقہ ان فقرائ کے لئے ہے جو راسِ خدا میں گرفتار ہوگئے ہیں اور کسی طرف جانے کے قابل بھی نہیں ہیں ناواقف افراد انہیں ان کی حیا و عفت کی بنا پر مالدار سمجھتے ہیں حالانکہ تم آثار سے ان کی غربت کا اندازہ کرسکتے ہو اگرچہ یہ لوگوں سے چمٹ کر سوال نہیں کرتے ہیںاور تم لوگ جو کچھ بھی انفاق کرو گے خدا اسے خوب جانتا ہے

খয়রাত ঐ সকল গরীব লোকের জন্যে যারা আল্লাহর পথে আবদ্ধ হয়ে গেছে-জীবিকার সন্ধানে অন্যত্র ঘোরাফেরা করতে সক্ষম নয়। অজ্ঞ লোকেরা যাঞ্চা না করার কারণে তাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত মনে করে। তোমরা তাদেরকে তাদের লক্ষণ দ্বারা চিনবে। তারা মানুষের কাছে কাকুতি-মিনতি করে ভিক্ষা চায় না। তোমরা যে অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অবশ্যই পরিজ্ঞাত।
