And We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and perfected them by [the addition of] ten; so the term of his Lord was completed as forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron, "Take my place among my people, do right [by them], and do not follow the way of the corrupters."

We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights, and completed them with ten [more]; thus the tryst of his Lord was completed in forty nights. And Moses said to Aaron, his brother, ‘Be my successor among my people, and set things right and do not follow the way of the agents of corruption.’

And when We did appoint for Moses thirty nights (of solitude), and added to them ten, and he completed the whole time appointed by his Lord of forty nights; and Moses said unto his brother, Aaron: Take my place among the people. Do right, and follow not the way of mischief-makers.

We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more): thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Moses had charged his brother Aaron (before he went up): "Act for me amongst my people: Do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief."

And We appointed with Moses thirty nights and We completed them with ten, so the appointed time of his Lord was forty nights; and Moses said to his brother Aaron, 'Be my successor among my people, and put things right, and do not follow the way of the workers of corruption.'

و با موسی [برای عبادتی ویژه و دریافت تورات] سی شب وعده گذاشتیم و آن را با [افزودن] ده شب کامل کردیم، پس میعادگاه پروردگارش به چهل شب پایان گرفت، و موسی [هنگامی که به میعادگاه می رفت] به برادرش هارون گفت: در میان قومم جانشین من باش و به اصلاح برخیز و از راه و روش مفسدان پیروی مکن.

و با موسی، سی شب وعده گذاشتیم و آن را با ده شب دیگر تمام کردیم. تا آنکه وقت معین پروردگارش در چهل شب به سر آمد. و موسی [هنگام رفتن به کوه طور] به برادرش هارون گفت: «در میان قوم من جانشینم باش، و [کار آنان را] اصلاح کن، و راه فسادگران را پیروی مکن.»

Musa'ya otuz gece vade verip sonra buna on gece daha kattık; böylece Rabbinin tayin ettiği müddet kırk geceye tamamlandı. Musa, kardeşi Harun'a, "Milletim içinde benim yerime geç, onları ıslah et, bozguncuların yoluna gitme" dedi.

Dan telah Kami janjikan kepada Musa (memberikan Taurat) sesudah berlalu waktu tiga puluh malam, dan Kami sempurnakan jumlah malam itu dengan sepuluh (malam lagi), maka sempurnalah waktu yang telah ditentukan Tuhannya empat puluh malam. Dan berkata Musa kepada saudaranya yaitu Harun: "Gantikanlah aku dalam (memimpin) kaumku, dan perbaikilah, dan janganlah kamu mengikuti jalan orang-orang yang membuat kerusakan".

اور ہم نے موسٰی علیھ السّلامسے تیس راتوں کا وعدہ لیا اور اسے دس مزید راتوں سے مکمل کردیا کہ اس طرح ان کے رب کا وعدہ چالیس راتوں کا وعدہ ہوگیا اور انہوں نے اپنے بھائی ہارون علیھ السّلامسے کہا کہ تم قوم میں میری نیابت کرو اور اصلاح کرتے رہو اور خبردار مفسدوں کے راستہ کا اتباع نہ کرنا

আর আমি মূসাকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি ত্রিশ রাত্রির এবং সেগুলোকে পূর্ন করেছি আরো দশ দ্বারা। বস্তুতঃ এভাবে চল্লিশ রাতের মেয়াদ পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আর মূসা তাঁর ভাই হারুনকে বললেন, আমার সম্প্রদায়ে তুমি আমার প্রতিনিধি হিসাবে থাক। তাদের সংশোধন করতে থাক এবং হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারীদের পথে চলো না।
