And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."

And when Moses prayed for water for his people, We said, ‘Strike the rock with your staff.’ Thereat twelve fountains gushed forth from it; every tribe came to know its drinking-place. ‘Eat and drink of Allah’s provision, and do not act wickedly on the earth, causing corruption.’

And when Moses asked for water for his people, We said: Smite with thy staff the rock. And there gushed out therefrom twelve springs (so that) each tribe knew their drinking-place. Eat and drink of that which Allah hath provided, and do not act corruptly, making mischief in the earth.

And remember Moses prayed for water for his people; We said: "Strike the rock with thy staff." Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each group knew its own place for water. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.

And when Moses sought water for his people, so We said, 'Strike with thy staff the rock'; and there gushed forth from it twelve fountains; all the people knew now their drinking-place. 'Eat and drink of God's providing, and mischief not in the earth, doing corruption.'

و [یاد کنید] آن گاه که موسی برای قومش درخواست آب کرد، پس گفتیم: عصایت را به این سنگ بزن. پس دوازده چشمه از آن جوشید به طوری که هر گروهی [از دوازده گروه بنی اسرائیل] چشمه ویژه خود را شناخت. [و گفتیم:] از روزیِ خدا بخورید و بیاشامید و تبهکارانه در زمین فتنه و آشوب بر پا نکنید.

و هنگامی که موسی برای قوم خود در پی آب برآمد، گفتیم: «با عصایت بر آن تخته‌سنگ بزن.» پس دوازده چشمه از آن جوشیدن گرفت، [به گونه‌ای که‌] هر قبیله‌ای آبشخور خود را می‌دانست. [و گفتیم:] «از روزی خدا بخورید و بیاشامید، و[لی ]در زمین سر به فساد برمدارید.»

Musa, milleti için su aramıştı; "Asanla taşa vur" dedik; ondan on iki pınar fışkırdı, herkes içeceği yeri bildi. Allah'ın rızkından yiyin, için, yalnız yeryüzünde bozgunculuk yaparak karışıklık çıkarmayın.

Dan (ingatlah) ketika Musa memohon air untuk kaumnya, lalu Kami berfirman: "Pukullah batu itu dengan tongkatmu". Lalu memancarlah daripadanya dua belas mata air. Sungguh tiap-tiap suku telah mengetahui tempat minumnya (masing-masing). Makan dan minumlah rezeki (yang diberikan) Allah, dan janganlah kamu berkeliaran di muka bumi dengan berbuat kerusakan.

اور اس موقع کو یاد کرو جب موسٰی علیھ السّلام نے اپنی قوم کے لئے پانی کا مطالبہ کیا تو ہم نے کہا کہ اپنا اعصا پتھر پر مارو جس کے نتیجہ میں بارہ چشمے جاری ہوگئے اور سب نے اپنا اپنا گھاٹ پہچان لیا. اب ہم نے کہا کہ من وسلوٰی کھاؤ اور چشمہ کا پانی پیو اور روئے زمینمیں فساد نہ پھیلاؤ

আর মূসা যখন নিজ জাতির জন্য পানি চাইল, তখন আমি বললাম, স্বীয় যষ্ঠির দ্বারা আঘাত কর পাথরের উপরে। অতঃপর তা থেকে প্রবাহিত হয়ে এল বারটি প্রস্রবণ। তাদের সব গোত্রই চিনে নিল নিজ নিজ ঘাট। আল্লাহর দেয়া রিযিক খাও, পান কর আর দুনিয়ার বুকে দাংগা-হাংগামা করে বেড়িও না।
