Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?

Have you seen him who has taken his desire to be his god and whom Allah has led astray knowingly, set a seal upon his hearing and heart, and put a blindfold on his sight? So who will guide him after Allah [has consigned him to error]? Will you not then take admonition?

Hast thou seen him who maketh his desire his god, and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him)? Will ye not then heed?

Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

Hast thou seen him who has taken his caprice to be his god, and God has led him astray out of a knowledge, and set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and laid a covering on his eyes? Who shall guide him after God? What, will you not remember?

پس آیا کسی که معبودش را هوای نفسش قرار داده دیدی؟ و خدا او را از روی علم و آگاهی خود [بر اینکه شایسته هدایت نیست] گمراه کرد، و بر گوش و دلش مُهرِ [تیره بختی] نهاد، و بر چشم [دلش] پرده ای قرار داده است، پس چه کسی است که بعد از خدا او را هدایت کند؟ آیا متذکّر [حقایق] نمی شوید؟

پس آیا دیدی کسی را که هوس خویش را معبود خود قرار داده و خدا او را دانسته گمراه گردانیده و بر گوش او و دلش مُهر زده و بر دیده‌اش پرده نهاده است؟ آیا پس از خدا چه کسی او را هدایت خواهد کرد؟ آیا پند نمی‌گیرید؟

Heva ve hevesini tanrı edinen, bilgisi olduğu halde Allah'ın şaşırttığı, kulağını ve kalbini mühürlediği, gözünü perdelediği kimseyi gördün mü? Onu Allah'tan başka kim doğru yola eriştirebilir? Ey insanlar! Anlamaz mısınız?

Maka pernahkah kamu melihat orang yang menjadikan hawa nafsunya sebagai tuhannya dan Allah membiarkannya berdasarkan ilmu-Nya dan Allah telah mengunci mati pendengaran dan hatinya dan meletakkan tutupan atas penglihatannya? Maka siapakah yang akan memberinya petunjuk sesudah Allah (membiarkannya sesat). Maka mengapa kamu tidak mengambil pelajaran?

کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو بھی دیکھا ہے جس نے اپنی خواہش ہی کو خدا بنالیا ہے اور خدا نے اسی حالت کو دیکھ کر اسے گمراہی میں چھوڑ دیا ہے اور اس کے کان اور دل پر مہر لگادی ہے اور اس کی آنکھ پر پردے پڑے ہوئے ہیں اور خدا کے بعد کون ہدایت کرسکتا ہے کیا تم اتنا بھی غور نہیں کرتے ہو

আপনি কি তার প্রতি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, যে তার খেয়াল-খুশীকে স্বীয় উপাস্য স্থির করেছে? আল্লাহ জেনে শুনে তাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছেন, তার কান ও অন্তরে মহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন এবং তার চোখের উপর রেখেছেন পর্দা। অতএব, আল্লাহর পর কে তাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করবে? তোমরা কি চিন্তাভাবনা কর না?
