And likewise, to many of the polytheists their partners have made [to seem] pleasing the killing of their children in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion. And if Allah had willed, they would not have done so. So leave them and that which they invent.

That is how to most of the polytheists the slaying of their children is presented as decorous by those whom they ascribe as partners [to Allah], that they may ruin them and confound their religion for them. Had Allah wished, they would not have done it. So leave them with what they fabricate.

Thus have their (so-called) partners (of Allah) made the killing of their children to seem fair unto many of the idolaters, that they may ruin them and make their faith obscure for them. Had Allah willed (it otherwise), they had not done so. So leave them alone with their devices.

Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.

Thus those associates of theirs have decked out fair to many idolaters to slay their children, to destroy them, and to confuse their religion for them. Had God willed, they would not have done so; so leave them to their forging.

مانند [این سهم بندی بی اساس که هوای نفسشان در نظرشان آراست] بتان، کشتن فرزندانشان را در نظرشان آراستند تا سرگردان و هلاکشان سازند و دینشان را بر آنان مُشتبه [و آمیخته به بدعت ها و خرافات] کنند؛ اگر خدا می خواست [اجباراً] آن کار را نمی کردند [ولی اجبار به عمل و ترک آن مشمول خواست خدا نیست؛] پس آنان را با آنچه دروغ می سازند واگذار.

و این گونه برای بسیاری از مشرکان، بتانشان کشتن فرزندانشان را آراستند، تا هلاکشان کنند و دینشان را بر آنان مشتبه سازند؛ و اگر خدا می‌خواست چنین نمی‌کردند. پس ایشان را با آنچه به دروغ می‌سازند رها کن.

Böylece, putlara hizmet edenler, puta tapanların çoğunu helake sürüklemek, dinlerini karma karışık etmek için çocuklarını öldürmelerini onlara iyi göstermişlerdir. Allah dileseydi bunu yapamazlardı. Sen onları ve iftiralarını bir tarafa bırak.

Dan demikianlah pemimpin-pemimpin mereka telah menjadikan kebanyakan dari orang-orang musyrik itu memandang baik membunuh anak-anak mereka untuk membinasakan mereka dan untuk mengaburkan bagi mereka agama-Nya. Dan kalau Allah menghendaki, niscaya mereka tidak mengerjakannya, maka tinggallah mereka dan apa yang mereka ada-adakan.

اور اسی طرح ان شریکوں نے بہت سے مشرکین کے لئے اولاد کے قتل کو بھی آراستہ کردیا ہے تاکہ ان کو تباہ و برباد کردیں اور ان پر دین کو مشتبہ کردیں حالانکہ خدا اس کے خلاف چاہ لیتا تو یہ کچھ نہیں کرسکتے تھے لہذا آپ ان کو ان کی افترا پردازیوں پر چھوڑ دیں اور پریشان نہ ہوں

এমনিভাবে অনেক মুশরেকের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের উপাস্যরা সন্তান হত্যাকে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে যেন তারা তাদেরকে বিনষ্ট করে দেয় এবং তাদের ধর্মমতকে তাদের কাছে বিভ্রান্ত করে দেয়। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তারা এ কাজ করত না। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মনগড়া বুলিকে পরিত্যাগ করুন।
