And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.

On the day when the Hour sets in, the guilty will swear that they had remained only for an hour. That is how they were used to lying [in the world].

And on the day when the Hour riseth the guilty will vow that they did tarry but an hour - thus were they ever deceived.

On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!

Upon the day when the Hour is come, the sinners shall swear they have not tarried above an hour; so they were perverted.

و روزی که قیامت برپا می شود، مجرمان سوگند می خورند که [فاصله مرگ تا قیامت را] جز ساعتی درنگ نکرده اند، این گونه [که در قیامت دروغ می گویند و منحرف از حقیقت هستند در دنیا نیز همواره از حق به باطل] منحرف می شدند.

و روزی که رستاخیز بر پا شود، مجرمان سوگند یاد می‌کنند که جز ساعتی [بیش‌] درنگ نکرده‌اند؛ [در دنیا هم‌] این گونه به دروغ کشانیده می‌شدند.

Kıyamet koptuğu gün suçlular sadece çok kısa bir müddet kalmış olduklarına yemin ederler. Böylece onlar dünyada da aldatılıp haktan döndürülüyorlardı.

Dan pada hari terjadinya kiamat, bersumpahlah orang-orang yang berdosa; "mereka tidak berdiam (dalam kubur) melainkan sesaat (saja)". Seperti demikianlah mereka selalu dipalingkan (dari kebenaran).

اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی اس دن مجرمین قسم کھاکر کہیں گے کہ وہ ایک ساعت سے زیادہ دنیا میں نہیںٹہرے ہیں درحقیقت یہ اسی طرح دنیا میں بھی افترا پردازیاں کیا کرتے تھے

যেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে, সেদিন অপরাধীরা কসম খেয়ে বলবে যে, এক মুহুর্তেরও বেশী অবস্থান করিনি। এমনিভাবে তারা সত্যবিমুখ হত।
