The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.

The month of Ramadan is one in which the Quran was sent down as guidance to mankind, with manifest proofs of guidance and the Criterion. So let those of you who witness it fast [in] it, and as for someone who is sick or on a journey, let it be a [similar] number of other days. Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire hardship for you, and so that you may complete the number and magnify Allah for guiding you, and that you may give thanks.

Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

the month of Ramadan, wherein the Koran was sent down to be a guidance to the people, and as clear signs of the Guidance and the Salvation. So let those of you, who are present at the month, fast it; and if any of you be sick, or if he be on a journey, then a number of other days; God desires ease for you, and desires not hardship for you; and that you fulfil the number, and magnify God that He has guided you, and haply you will be thankful.

[این است] ماه رمضان که قرآن در آن نازل شده، قرآنی که سراسرش هدایتگر مردم است و دارای دلایلی روشن و آشکار از هدایت می باشد، و مایه جدایی [حق از باطل] است. پس کسی که در این ماه [در وطنش] حاضر باشد باید آن را روزه بدارد، و آنکه بیمار یا در سفر است، تعدادی از روزهای غیر ماه رمضان را [به تعداد روزه های فوت شده، روزه بدارد]. خدا آسانی و راحت شما را می خواهد نه دشواری و مشقت شما را. و [قضای روزه] برای این است: شما روزه هایی را [که به خاطر عذر شرعی افطار کرده اید] کامل کنید، و خدا را بر اینکه شما را هدایت فرموده بزرگ شمارید، و نیز برای این که سپاس گزاری کنید.

ماه رمضان [همان ماه‌] است که در آن، قرآن فرو فرستاده شده است، [کتابی ] که مردم را راهبر، و [متضمّن‌] دلایل آشکار هدایت، و [میزان‌] تشخیص حق از باطل است. پس هر کس از شما این ماه را درک کند باید آن را روزه بدارد، و کسی که بیمار یا در سفر است [باید به شماره آن،] تعدادی از روزهای دیگر [را روزه بدارد]. خدا برای شما آسانی می‌خواهد و برای شما دشواری نمی‌خواهد؛ تا شماره [مقرر ]را تکمیل کنید و خدا را به پاس آنکه رهنمونیتان کرده است به بزرگی بستایید، و باشد که شکرگزاری کنید.

Ramazan ayı, ki onda Kuran, insanlara yol gösterici ve doğruyu yanlıştan ayırıcı belgeler olarak indirildi. Sizden bu ayı idrak eden, onda oruç tutsun; hasta veya yolculukta olan, tutamadığı günlerin sayısınca diğer günlerde tutsun. Allah size kolaylık ister, zorluk istemez. Bu kolaylıkları, sayıyı tamamlamanız ve size yol gösterdiğine karşılık O'nu ululamanız için meşru kılmıştır; ola ki şükredersiniz.

(Beberapa hari yang ditentukan itu ialah) bulan Ramadhan, bulan yang di dalamnya diturunkan (permulaan) Al Quran sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia dan penjelasan-penjelasan mengenai petunjuk itu dan pembeda (antara yang hak dan yang bathil). Karena itu, barangsiapa di antara kamu hadir (di negeri tempat tinggalnya) di bulan itu, maka hendaklah ia berpuasa pada bulan itu, dan barangsiapa sakit atau dalam perjalanan (lalu ia berbuka), maka (wajiblah baginya berpuasa), sebanyak hari yang ditinggalkannya itu, pada hari-hari yang lain. Allah menghendaki kemudahan bagimu, dan tidak menghendaki kesukaran bagimu. Dan hendaklah kamu mencukupkan bilangannya dan hendaklah kamu mengagungkan Allah atas petunjuk-Nya yang diberikan kepadamu, supaya kamu bersyukur.

ماسِ رمضان وہ مہینہ ہے جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا ہے جو لوگوں کے لئے ہدایت ہے اور اس میں ہدایت اور حق و باطل کے امتیاز کی واضح نشانیاں موجود ہیں لہٰذا جو شخص اس مہینہ میں حاضر رہے اس کا فرض ہے کہ روزہ رکھے اور جو مریض یا مسافر ہو وہ اتنے ہی دن دوسرے زمانہ میں رکھے. خدا تمہارے بارے میں آسانی چاہتا ہے زحمت نہیں چاہتا. اور اتنے ہی دن کا حکم اس لئے ہے کہ تم عدد پورے کردو اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی دی ہوئی ہدایت پر اس کی کبریائی کا اقرار کرو اور شاید تم اس طرح اس کے شکر گزار بندے بن جاؤ

রমযান মাসই হল সে মাস, যাতে নাযিল করা হয়েছে কোরআন, যা মানুষের জন্য হেদায়েত এবং সত্যপথ যাত্রীদের জন্য সুষ্পষ্ট পথ নির্দেশ আর ন্যায় ও অন্যায়ের মাঝে পার্থক্য বিধানকারী। কাজেই তোমাদের মধ্যে যে লোক এ মাসটি পাবে, সে এ মাসের রোযা রাখবে। আর যে লোক অসুস্থ কিংবা মুসাফির অবস্থায় থাকবে সে অন্য দিনে গণনা পূরণ করবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য সহজ করতে চান; তোমাদের জন্য জটিলতা কামনা করেন না যাতে তোমরা গণনা পূরণ কর এবং তোমাদের হেদায়েত দান করার দরুন আল্লাহ তা’আলার মহত্ত্ব বর্ণনা কর, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর।
